Perth Regiment Servicemen

In honour of the Legion’s Centenary Year, our Branch is beginning a year-long project to build an Online Memorial for those veterans with community connections, including:

  • Individuals listed on the cenotaph and local war plaques throughout town
  • Those commemorated on banners purchased by families
  • And, where applicable, individuals who are still living and would like their own words included

There are nearly 300 names, so this will grow over time as we research, write, and fill in all the entries throughout 2026. The list is below most pages are still blank, but some are well on their way to being complete.

How we’re building it

To get this started, we’re using publicly available information (from historical records and reputable online sources) to create a basic biography for each person. Our goal is to ensure every name is recognized with care, accuracy, and respect.

We need your help to make it personal

If you’re a family member, friend, or someone who knew the person, we would love to include a more personal touch, such as:

  • A short story, memory, or message
  • A photo (if you’re comfortable sharing one)
  • A correction or missing detail (dates, spelling, service info)
  • Any context you feel should be remembered
  • If the person is still living: what they would like their entry to say

Even a few sentences can make an entry feel human and real, and help turn a name into living history.

If you see the entery is filled out feel free to check it and confirm the information is correct.

How to contribute

If you have information or would like to share a story, please contact us through the Branch. Include the person’s name (and any details you know that help identify them, such as unit, rank, or dates), and what you’d like added.

Please take some time connect with those who servered.

Thank you for helping us honour those connected to our shared history, and for helping their names remain remembered, not just recorded.
