Poppy Campaign
Since 1921, the Poppy has stood as a national symbol of Remembrance. The Poppy is also the recognized symbol for the Legion’s Poppy Campaign, which raises funds to support Veterans and their dependents.
When you buy a poppy from your local legion the funds go directly to support local Veterans and their family.

Yard Signs
A fantastic and respectful way to display a message of Remembrance for all to see.
The 16” x 24” sign is made from coroplast (recyclable) so it can withstand the often-unpredictable fall weather, from hot sunny days to cold snowy nights. The sign comes with a 30” metal stake, and after assembly and installation the sign should sit approximately 15” above the ground.
Yard Signs are available at the branch during the first week of November

Remembrance Banners
The Royal Canadian Legion Perth Regiment Veterans Branch 236 St Marys has joined forces with the Town of St Marys in an effort to show the town’s support of veterans. During the Remembrance Period that takes place between the last Friday in October and November 11th, banners depicting veterans associated with St Marys will be hung in the downtown core of our town.
The banners will be 22 inches wide and 46 inches tall, and will show a photo of the veteran, give his/her name, what part of the service they served in, and who sponsored the banner.
Once made, it belongs to the sponsor. After it has been displayed, it can be returned to the sponsor or stored at the Legion at no cost. After being paid for, the banner will be displayed each subsequent year during the Remembrance Period – as long as the banner remains presentable – at no additional cost.

Wreaths
Each year wreaths are laid to commemorated the more than 550 veterans laid to rest in St. Marys Cemetery at Veterans’ Decoration Day
